Author guidelines
When submitting an abstract, you can choose to submit a symposium or an individual (oral or poster) presentation.
Symposium:
A symposium consists of multiple presentations and is led by a chair; the chair of the symposium submits the abstract for the entire symposium.
When submitting the symposium, you will have the opportunity to submit an abstract (max. 1000 words). This abstract should contain the following information:
A brief description of the general topic of the symposium and the format of the symposium. You are free to suggest a format of your own choice (e.g., 3 presenters followed by a discussant; moderated panel discussion; workshop or hack-a-thon), but keep in mind that a session will have a duration of 1 hour.
A brief description of the different presentations in the symposium
When submitting the symposium, you will need to enter the names and affiliations of all authors involved in the symposium. In addition, you will need to indicate who will be presenting.
Individual (oral or poster) presentation:
You can submit an individual presentation, indicating if you would like to include your presentation in an oral session, poster session, or either.
When submitting an individual presentation, you will be required to submit an abstract (max. 250 words). This abstract should contain the following information:
Topic and research questions
Method
Results
Conclusion and contribution
Accepted individual oral presentations will be grouped in thematically coherent sessions by the organizers.
